I heard about Fitness by Design when a card popped through my door about two years ago. Having never been a fan of exercise I was pretty nervous when I first started personal training but Sheila and Ket make it a really personal and motivating experience. They're straight talking and push you to do things you'd never do on your own. In April this year I got married and for the 6 months before that Sheila worked with me on a personal programme so that I could feel really good on the day. It paid off and on the wedding day I was lighter and fitter than I had ever been in my life before. Sheila helped me to really build my confidence with exercise and took me from someone who couldn't run for a minute on the treadmill to running 5km around Regents Park - it may not sound a lot to some people but to me the idea was like running a marathon before I actually did it and felt great! |

After having two boys within 18 months I found it very difficult to get the babyweight off. I had only put on about a stone and a half, but it kept creeping on as I breastfed and then I was too tired to bother with healthy eating and exercise. I ended up going from 9.7 to about 11.7. I always used to wear size 12 before I was pregnant and found myself squashed into size 14s. That's when I took up personal training. I had done it before but never had much success. The difference this time is definately Ket and Sheila. Their professional approach, empathy and enthusiasm made me want to succeed. In just over a year I have dropped down to about 9 stones and now wear a size 10, slimmer than I have ever been - sometimes I can't believe it myself. My approach to eating and exercise has completely changed. I don't diet or starve, I really eat what I want, but exercise regularly and most days tend to eat healthily. I can't recommend Ket and Sheila highly enough and am so grateful to feel in control of my body - for the first time ever really. |
