Ketan Shah  

Graduated from Premier International Limited in 1996 with a Diploma in Fitness Training and Sports Therapy Ketan Shah brings a compelling list of credentials and experiences that have lead him to creating his formula of training and sports therapy rehabilitation.

Having started my career as a lifeguard during my student years as a way of providing financial support I developed a hunger for all types of sports which led me to coaching a number of sports (badminton, trampoline and track athletics) and now I have been coaching marathon running and endurance events since 1997.

My career began in sports development; I saw an opportunity within the health and fitness industry and have now established a thriving personal training business combined with a dynamic team of personal trainers who bring with them exceptional skills and expertise.

As a keen sportsman I have completed both marathons and triathlons and have adapted my own training, nutrition and lifestyle program and know all the very latest training techniques and the best way to impart them.

Sheila Mistry  

With 10 years in the corporate industry, I developed a craze for fitness and trained as a Freelance Studio Instructor in 1991 which tied my passion for fitness and my desire to climb; this led me to co-founding Fitness By Design Personal Training in 2000 with my husband, Ketan Shah. I bring with me over 14 years experience in the fitness industry.

I am highly motivated and focused and maintain a strong determination to help others reach their fitness goals with a fun approach! I have worked with a wide range of clients from those new to exercise up to those at the top of their game. I find it very rewarding when you have helped your clients achieve their goals and they continue to thrive for more.

One of the key highlights of my fitness career was to develop a fitness video in conjunction with the Sports Council to promote awareness and importance of physical activity amongst Asian women throughout the UK which was a huge success.

Charmaine Anita Terrett  


I have been in fitness for the past 14 years. My main passion is technique in exercise and the execution of great form… and this is my mantra!

I was there at the beginning with the old high lo aerobics to today with the combat and core stability classes. Over the years I have taught and trained in…

  • Thai-bo, boxicise , Body combat
  • Aerobics, spinning, treadmill classes and running clubs
  • Body pump, free weights, complete conditioning and legs of steel
  • Power stretch, core pilot, body balance and core work, this is a favorite of mine.

Also I enjoyed working with children for 10 years in movement and dance. I also enjoy coaching  members and clients to help them achieve and maintain goals as well as advising them in Nutrition and Weight Management.

Antonio Faedda

Antonio has over five years of experience in one to one tuitions and personal training.  Specialised in
Weight Loss, Muscle toning, Strength and resistance training, Boxing and Martial Arts Training.
